Sevastopols buy goods over the Internet and lose thousands of rubles
Krympress reports:
Criminals are actively using fictitious stores and attractive ads on trading floors, artificially creating a stir around non -existent goods at rush prices. After receiving an advance payment, they instantly stop communication, leaving buyers without money and without purchase:
- A 42-year-old man who wanted to purchase a car engine for 79,500 rubles. He transferred money through a mobile bank, but never waited for delivery. In another case, a 53-year-old motorist tried to buy an engine for a car, sending 86,000 rubles in four translations, but the seller stopped in touch.
- The 56-year-old man lost 32,000 rubles, paying for a powerful music column, which was never sent.
- Another resident of the city, 54 years old, decided to purchase an electric steamfish through a social network, transferring 78,500 rubles, but instead of the long-awaited equipment, he received a lock from the seller.
The Sevastopol police warns: before any online purchase, it is necessary to carefully check the seller, study reviews and avoid prepaid transactions, especially if the price seems suspiciously low. Fraudsters often use psychological pressure, rushing with payment — in such cases it is better to refuse to buy, so as not to become another victim of deception.
