Sevavtodor mows grass along the roads

Krympress reports:

Sevavtodor goes to the mowing of grass daily. Switch both mechanized, using specialized equipment, and manually. Work is carried out as part of the maintenance of roads. Since the beginning of the spring period, about 70 hectares have already been deduced in Sevastopol. Two tractors, auxiliary equipment, as well as five brigades of road workers are involved in the work.

This is necessary to ensure road safety, since if the grass grows, it can close the review to drivers. If we talk about green spaces — they can close road signs or traffic lights, triangles of visibility and pedestrian crossings. As a result, all this increases the risk of accidents,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol by the master of the site of the main roads of the GBU «Sevastopol Avtodor» Maxim Kolomiyts.

Small grass also provides safety. During a high fire hazardous period, dry grass becomes an increased source of the spread of fire to a large territory.

Past and sanitary cleaning work are performed within the boundaries of structural elements of roads — this is a passing part, curb, slope, ditch, dividing strip, behind a metal barrier fence. Swim grass as it grows. Sanitary cleaning is carried out in suburban sections of roads, including on the Kamyshovo highway and the Fiolentovskoye Shosse.
