Sevavtodor works in an enhanced mode of winter maintenance of roads
Krympress reports:
In connection with the possible deterioration of weather conditions, on behalf of the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, Sevtodor, strengthened the work on the winter maintenance of roads. So, at night, Sevavtodor’s specialists processed rural roads with an anti -icing mixture.
Last night, Sevavtodor, preventively processed the anti -icing mixture of the Baidarskaya Valley, p. Verkhnesadovoye, entrance to the Belbek airport, p. Kacha. Seven units of special equipment were involved in these works, more than 25 tons of anti -icing material were spent,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution “Sevastopol Avtodor” Alexander Lukashev.
According to Alexander Lukashev, in the city line the road situation is in satisfactory condition. There were no appeals to the duty dispatch service of the institution for the liquidation of ice phenomena.
Sevtodor’s special equipment continues to be on duty in different areas of the city for operational response in case of worsening weather conditions.
At the moment, about four thousand tons of sand-salt mixture and pure salt are prepared, which are stored at five bases: in Laspi, Inkerman, p. Sturmovoye, Kamyshovo highway and st. Shabalina.
According to experts, dangerous areas are primarily processed: descents and ascents, inhibition areas at pedestrian crossings, the route of public transport and school buses.
In order to avoid emergency situations, we call on car owners not to use vehicles on summer tires.
It must be remembered that traveling on summer tires in the winter is prohibited and dangerous, since their adhesion to the road is reduced several times due to winter slippery, which can lead to a skid.
When driving a car, be extremely careful and neat, observe the speed limit and distance, avoid overtaking and rebuilding.
Pedestrians should also be careful: cross the road only by pedestrian crossings, wear reflectors in the dark.
To report on which roads are slippery, you can dispatch Sevtodor’s dispatch service by phone: +7 (978) 502-42-39.
The line works around the clock.
