7 times over the past 24 hours, firefighters from the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea” went out to extinguish fires in dry vegetation.
Let’s note the large areas of «landscape» fires: 480, 450, 400 square meters. «Geography» of fires: Shchebetovka, Koktebel, Ordzhonikidze, Rybachye, Shkolnoye, Krasnogvardeisky and Razdolnensky districts.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that from April 17, 2024, a special fire-fighting regime has been introduced on the territory of the peninsula:
During this period, it is strictly forbidden to make fires and carry out fire-hazardous work using open fire in forests, natural ecosystems and adjacent territories, including the deliberate burning of dry vegetation and household waste. The use of open fire and making fires on agricultural lands and lands of populated areas is permitted only in strict compliance with fire safety requirements.
