Seven Sevastopol schoolchildren received passports on Family, Love and Fidelity Day

On July 8 — the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty — seven Sevastopol residents were presented with passports. The official ceremony took place in the city’s «Boiling Point» as part of the All-Russian project «We are citizens of Russia». The participants were supported by their families in the hall: parents shared the important day with their children. The children took an oath of allegiance to the Motherland and performed the Russian anthem.
Receiving a passport for the first time is a real event for any teenager. A very important moment in everyone’s life. Being a citizen of our Motherland means being responsible for your actions. Now young men and women have obligations to our country and the right to decide its fate. From this moment on, the guys become independent. Today, teenagers are moving on to a new stage in their lives. In addition to the main document, the fourteen-year-old schoolchildren were presented with copies of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and small souvenirs. Together with the chairperson of the regional branch of the «Movement of the First» in Sevastopol, Anna Molchanova, the passports were presented by the deputy secretary of the Sevastopol regional branch of the «United Russia» party, Inna Goncharova.
