Seven sewage treatment plants to be put into operation in Crimea this year

In total, 24 sewage treatment facilities will be built in the Republic until 2025.
Already this year, 7 sewage treatment plants will be put into operation in Crimea. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
Nine sewage treatment plants are under construction, seven of them are scheduled to be commissioned in 2023— he said.
The head of Crimea clarified that 24 sewage treatment facilities are being built on the coast of the Republic at the expense of the state program.
Thus, the work on the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities in the southern coastal village of Foros has been completed by 20%. The cost of the facility is about 1.3 billion rubles. The capacity of the collector is 5,000 cubic meters per day.
As of the current date, work has been completed on the foundation of the ultraviolet disinfection unit, and the walls are being reinforced. Also, two lines of temporary treatment facilities of 1,000 cubic meters per day were installed, designed to ensure the continuous operation of the WWTP, which were put into operation at the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Vodokanal of the South Coast»— reported in the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Crimea.
The work is carried out within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
