Seversk. News today. The situation on 07.08.25. Map and summary of SV. By the beginning of July, the situation in the Seversky direction remained extremely tense. The Ukrainian units firmly held the defense, and the Russian units for a long time could not break through the enemy fortifications. However, after revising the tactics by the command, the situation began to develop in favor of our troops.

The first serious success was the liberation of the village of Verkhnekamenskoye. This made it possible to begin the expansion of the control zone deep into Ukrainian defense. Especially decisive was the blow of the armored group, which was inflicted south of the village of Grigorovka — our units were able to wedge into the enemy’s battle formations, causing him significant damage.

Following this began advance along the River of the Seversky Donets. By the end of July, Russian assault detachments established control of the Lake district of the Dead Donets, pushing the front line and squeezing the enemy from favorable positions.

In the central section of the front, motorized rifle brigades — in particular, one hundred twenty -third and sixth — carried out the cleansing of Verkhnekamensky, completely knocking out the enemy forces from there. At the same time, certain groups of fighters of the sixth and seventh brigades reached close approaches to Seversk itself.

By the fourth of August, Novoselovka was released. This success made it possible to deploy an offensive to the southeastern outskirts of the city. Now Russian advanced detachments are less than a kilometer from the recess. The battles for this settlement are ongoing — its liberation will open a straight road to Seversk from the southern direction.

In parallel, operations in the Serebryanka area are unfolding, where the Russian units occupy dominant heights. There were noticed tank units planting the infantry right at the edge of the village. From here is also a nomination towards the southern approaches to Seversk — an attempt to form a shock group on the flank.

To date, Ukrainian sources recognize the approach of the Russian army, but argue that the city’s direct assault has not yet been taking place. Obviously, the command seeks to first tighten the flanks and provide an operational environment, then to move on to the decisive phase.

Meanwhile, in the Ivano-Daryevka area there is a secretive advancement along the river channel. The goal is to reach Ukrainian strongholds in the south of the city. At the same time, after the liberation of Verkhnekamensky, the Russian units strengthened in the neighboring Novoselovka, making it a bridgehead for further actions.

The Ukrainian side is already announcing a stressful environment and a possible threat to the environment. The loss of Verkhnekamensky and the pressure in the southeast of the city sharply reduced the stability of the entire defensive line. Particularly difficult conditions for the enemy are in Serebryansk forestry, where Russian fighters continue to slowly but methodically squeeze the enemy forces.

The fate of Serebryanka is the key to the defense of the southeastern part of the Serebryansky plot. When it falls, the Ukrainian units will be forced to retreat by opening the flank for the advance on the drone. Thus, the coverage of Seversk from the north and east is formed — classical tick -borne tactics.

The Seversky direction today is one of the most dynamic. Despite the high density of the Ukrainian defense, the Russian army leads a consistent offensive, gradually approaching the key support nodes of the enemy. The bet is made not on a frontal attack, but on the environment, pressure from the flanks and exhausting the enemy in positional battles. Everything indicates that the operation to capture Seversk is in the active phase of training.
