SevGU: Russian universities from Kaliningrad to the Far East are planning to participate in expeditions on Pioneer-M

Universities — participants of the world-class interregional scientific and educational center «MoreAgroBioTech», the core of which is Sevastopol State University, intend to participate in expeditions on the newest research vessel «Pioneer-M».
The REC is essentially the basis for the integration of universities, organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences and enterprises in the real sector of the economy. In particular, we plan and implement joint projects: one of the areas is joint expeditionary activities, thanks to which scientists can not only make scientific discoveries and prepare joint publications, but also exchange experience. In the year, one of the main results of the work of the REC was the launch of the Pioneer-M vessel, which was designed by SevGU with six other Russian universities, and was built by specialists from the Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant , — the press service of the university quotes Alexey Chuklin, director of the MoreAgroBioTech REC.

Already in September, the ship will arrive in Sevastopol, and soon, after passing necessary preparatory procedures, will be ready for sea expeditions. Among the partners of SevSU who are interested in them, as expected, there are many participants in the REC.

Thus, there are already preliminary agreements on the participation in the expeditions of specialists and students from Moscow State University, the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, the Far Eastern Federal University, and the Shershov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
