SevTYUZ will send funds from the performances to the participants of the SVO

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators is holding an action to help mobilized participants in a special military operation. The administration and artists of the theater decided to give 10 charitable performances «The Taste of Copper Wire», and transfer all proceeds from ticket sales to the acquisition of what is currently most needed by the fighters.

We have previously provided assistance to the mobilized: we went to the wounded in the hospital, collected warm clothes and personal hygiene products, which were donated through collection points and the church, participated in events attended by mothers and wives of servicemen, donated blood , — quotes the Sevastopolskaya Gazeta director of the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators Andrei Maimusov.

  • According to him, the idea to hold a special action was supported by the whole team, and the first charity performance «The Taste of Copper Wire» was played for Sevastopol residents 19 on October .

    True, initially it was only about five performances, but the townspeople supported the idea so actively, having sold out all the tickets, that they had to add another five.

    To be honest, we have not seen such a flurry of calls with an expression of a desire to participate, — says Andrey Maimusov.

    It was decided to transfer all the funds raised to the governor’s fund for supporting the NWO.

    In our opinion, it is necessary to correctly dispose of the collected assistance. Someone alone should decide what exactly our fighters need and, most importantly, in what volumes , the director of the Youth Theater notes.

    The play «The Taste of Copper Wire» based on the work of the Sevastopol writer Gennady Cherkashin entered the theater’s repertoire in May 2022, on the eve of Victory Day. The performance is based on the memories of young Sevastopol residents who survived the war in their native city.

    The following performances of the play will be held as part of the support of the CBO:

      356080 November 6 at 18.30 on the stage of SevTyuZ;
    • 10 November at 17. and 10.30 on stage of the Lavrenev Drama Theatre.356080
