SFR for Sevastopol: until April 15, employers need to confirm the main type of economic activity
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Every year, before April 15, organizations must submit an application and documents to confirm the main type of economic activity (OVED) to the Branch of the Social Fund of Russia at the place of registration.
We are talking about organizations registered as insurers in 2023 and earlier. If the organization was registered in the current year, then confirmation of the main type of activity is not required. In addition, individual entrepreneurs do not confirm their main activity.
In accordance with the main type of economic activity, employers are annually assigned a professional risk class. This indicator directly determines what percentage of the employee’s accrued salary will need to be transferred to the Social Fund as an insurance contribution: from 0.2 to 8.5%— the press service quotes the manager of the regional branch of the fund, Elena Gaivoronskaya.
To confirm OKVED, employers or their legal representatives by proxy must send an application in a new form, a certificate confirming the main type of economic activity, as well as a copy of the explanatory note to the balance sheet for 2023 (except for insurers of small businesses).
If an organization does not timely confirm its main type of economic activity, it will automatically be assigned the highest professional risk class by type of economic activity in accordance with the policyholder codes according to the All-Russian Classifier of Types of Economic Activities (OKVED), indicated in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE).
Documents can be submitted in electronic form through the government services portal, the policyholder’s personal account on the SFR website, as well as through certification centers. Information on paper can be submitted to the SFR Branch, MFC or by mail.
