Shareholders of the housing-construction cooperative «Ostryakovo» met with the first deputy prosecutor of Sevastopol

Dmitry Tellin, First Deputy Prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol, held an on-site reception of citizens — shareholders of the housing construction cooperative «Ostryakovo», during which the issues of completing the construction of 2 apartment buildings on the street. Together with the first deputy prosecutor of the city, Acting Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Pavel Ieno, director of the Sevastopol City Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens — Participants in Equity Construction Vladimir Formanchuk, representatives of the Capital Construction Department of the city and a contractor went to the construction site. A total of 14 people attended. The construction of apartment buildings started before 03/18/2014, however, for a long time, more than 100 families cannot get the keys to their apartments, which was the basis for including information about the houses in the federal Unified Register of Problem Objects. The inspections showed that the long-term non-fulfillment of obligations by the housing cooperative «Ostryakovo» to complete the construction was accompanied by «double» sales of premises. Based on these facts, based on the materials of the prosecutor’s office, the investigating authorities initiated a criminal case on fraud, the investigation of which has not yet been completed.— noted in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.

In 2021-2022, the prosecutor’s office and the Government of Sevastopol took a number of measures aimed at restoring the rights of equity holders. In June 2022, the land plot at the indicated address was transferred to the regional Fund. Financing of completion is provided at the expense of the city budget and the public company «Territorial Development Fund». A contractor has been involved in the construction. The necessary design and estimate documentation was developed, according to which a positive conclusion of the state examination was received.

At the reception, citizens were interested in questions about the timing of putting houses into operation, the features of work on the completion of the facility, the procedure for restoring the rights of participants in the construction of non-residential premises.

Those who applied were given the necessary explanations, the dates of the next meetings with citizens were determined. Issues of completion of construction are left under control.
