“Sheltered” at night … The seller of a 24 -hour store was robbed by a visitor — an incident in Sevastopol

It was established that a 33-year-old local resident, returning home after a work shift, came to a public transport stop, but did not have time for the last bus. In order not to wait all night at the bus stop, he went into a round -the -clock store, where he ordered himself to drink and began to wait in the morning. At some point, he noticed that the seller was distracted by the cash register and left his workplace. The man was not at a loss, went behind the counter and climbed into the table box under the cash register, from where he got 32 thousand rubles and returned to his table to rest. In the morning he waited for the bus and drove home. The next day, the store seller, closing the cashier, discovered the loss of the money that the director of the outlet left for utility bills and told about this to the employer, who turned to the police,-voiced the details of the incident in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
The operatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Balaklava district established the identity of the suspect and detained him. The man confessed to his deed and said that he spent money at his discretion. A criminal case has been instituted against the defendant under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», he faces up to five years in prison.
