Shipyard «More» took part in the International Military-Technical Forum «Army-2023»

JSC Shipbuilding Plant «More» took part in the International Military-Technical Forum «Army-2023». As part of the exposition of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, the Crimean enterprise presented a hydrofoil boat of the Volga-M project.

Passenger boat «Volga-M» based on project 343ME made of aluminum-magnesium alloy is intended for service and traveling purposes. It has an overall length of 8.58 m, a maximum speed of 32.4 knots (60 km/h), an autonomy of 8 hours, a cruising range of more than 170 km, and can take on board up to 6 people.

The upgraded passenger hydrofoil boat «Volga-M» of project 343 ME, manufactured by shipbuilders of SZ «More» (part of the USC) was placed in the open air near the USC demonstration center and aroused interest among the forum participants— reported the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea.

It should be noted that JSC «Shipbuilding Plant» More «began the production of hydrofoils in 1959. In total, more than 640 units were produced, including 389 «Rockets» and 156 «Voskhodov-2». The plant’s products were used in 40 countries around the world.
