On October 3, 2024, employees of the department of trade and consumer services of the city administration, together with police representatives, conducted a joint raid to combat illegal trade. This was announced by the chief specialist of the department for coordinating the activities of markets and non-stationary trading of the department, Belyal Ismailov.
During the raid, 25 kilograms of products were confiscated from spontaneous traders. Violators will be subject to administrative sanctions.
Thus, spontaneous trade in vegetables, fruits and other food products was discovered in the area of the Central Market. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against violators under Article 6.1 of the Law of the Republic of Crimea — “Sale of goods in places not intended for these purposes.” These materials will be considered at the next meeting of the municipal administrative commission“Belyal Ismailov emphasizes.
Work to suppress spontaneous trade is carried out on an ongoing basis. Since the beginning of this year, more than 300 raids have been carried out, during which over 1,400 administrative protocols have been drawn up.
The administration of Simferopol urges residents and guests of the city not to buy food, vegetables, fruits and other products from spontaneous traders, as this can be dangerous to your health.
