Simferopol Hospital No. 7 is equipped with expensive rehabilitation equipment

The department of medical rehabilitation of adults with dysfunction of the central nervous system (CNS) of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Simferopol City Clinical Hospital No. 7» has been equipped with expensive medical equipment. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky spoke about this.
As part of the regional program “Optimal Medical Rehabilitation for Health,” 88 pieces of equipment worth a total of 77.3 million rubles were supplied to the medical institutionsaid the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health.
A total of 27 types of various rehabilitation equipment were purchased — a system for computerized psychological diagnostics and cognitive rehabilitation with accessories, a mobile magnetic neurostimulation system, portable electromagnetic deep tissue stimulators, physiotherapeutic systems for electrical stimulation, a treadmill, electric beds and much more.
Using the new equipment, under the supervision of doctors, patients will undergo medical rehabilitation after suffering diseases of the central nervous system, for example, after a stroke. If indicated, hospital patients can receive rehabilitation measures using transcranial magnetic stimulation, biofeedback and much more, which will improve the quality of life, expand the motor mode and help the patient gain greater independence in the daily life of the patientsaid the minister.
In 2024, as part of the regional program “Optimal Medical Rehabilitation for Health”, at the expense of federal funds, it is planned to equip the State Autonomous Institution of Healthcare of the Republic of Crimea “Republican Hospital for Rehabilitation Treatment “Black Waters” and the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Crimean Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans” with equipment.
