Simferopol identified violators of migration legislation

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Simferopol with the assistance of colleagues from the Office for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea and the power support of the Rosgvardi special forces checked the legality of the location of foreign citizens and their work on the territory of the peninsula.
During the events in one of the capital’s wholesale and retail markets, more than 20 foreign citizens were checked by police officers.
As a result of the raid, in relation to a 41-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up under part 1.1. Art. 18.8 of the Code of the Russian Federation on administrative offenses (violation by a foreign citizen or stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation). A decision was made on the imposition of an administrative punishment in the form of an administrative fine of 40 thousand rubles.
The police inform: In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1126 dated December 30, 2024, foreign citizens and stateless persons can in a simplified manner to resolve their legal status in the territory of the Russian Federation until April 30, 2025.
