On the first day of summer, Russians will travel to Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Krasnodar. Travel service reports this Tutuwho analyzed purchases of air and train tickets for June 1, 2024.

The top air destinations are headed by Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Mineralnye Vody. On the first day of summer, travelers will also travel by train to two capitals, as well as to Krasnodar, Adler and Rostov-on-Don. The share of purchased train tickets to Moscow is 21.2%, to St. Petersburg – 9.3%, to Krasnodar – 3.3%, to Adler – 3%, to Rostov-on-Don – 2.9% . The top 10 popular cities also included Anapa, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Simferopol and Nizhny Novgorod.
