Simferopol is so green and shady. Especially important in hot weather
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Crimea beats everything temperature records. Even the old-timers don’t remember such a hot June. This weather is especially hard to bear in hot concrete and asphalt cities. Fortunately, Simferopol has a lot of green, shady squares, parks, and pedestrian areas.
Gorzelenkhoz employees continue their mission. Every day in the Crimean capital new flowers are planted, flower beds are watered, trees and shrubs are put in order. The other day, the flower beds on Lenin Square were renewed. Maria Boronenkova, director of Gorzelenkhoz, spoke about this. According to her information, viola flowers in the flower beds were replaced by 1,500 bright marigolds — a genus of annual and perennial plants of the Asteraceae family.
In addition to work related to planting flowers, we also mow grass and water green spaces. We are doing everything possible to ensure that residents and guests of the Crimean capital rejoice as they walk through the streets of our city.noted Maria Boronenkova.
At the same time, the complex continues to prepare for planting other annual plants. Flowers of petunia, salvia, carnation and mattiola will soon be transplanted into pots, and then they will also be sent to flower beds and flower pots.
The most fragrant time has come in Simferopol parks. The air is filled with pleasant sweet smells of blooming linden, mock orange, catalpa and lavender… Walking through the parks is a pleasure! The photos – albeit partially – convey the atmosphere of June in Crimea.
