Simferopol is the winner of the competition for the right to host the Accelerator of creative projects “Create.Tavrida”

The “Tavrida” art cluster summed up the results of the competition to select youth venues for organizing and conducting the “Create.Tavrida” Creative Projects Accelerator in 2024. The winners were 8 youth organizations from the Chelyabinsk, Novgorod, Zaporozhye, Vologda, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. They will host a free educational program that will teach young people how to turn their ideas into real projects.

The accelerator of creative projects has been implemented by Tavrida since 2021 in the regions of Russia together with local institutions. The free educational program allows you to upgrade regional youth in the basics of project management, project presentation and public speaking skills. The training is intended for young cultural and artistic figures, members of creative associations and representatives of the region.

This year, the winners of the competitive selection of sites were 8 youth organizations — it is on their basis that training will take place in the new season, within the framework of which participants will learn to create creative projects for presentation at grant competitions. The winners of the competition were: Center for Sociocultural Development «Public Creative Space «Art-Satka» of the Chelyabinsk Region, Youth House, a center for preparing citizens for military service in the Novgorod Region, Resource Center for Supporting Volunteerism in the city of Sevastopol, art residence «Art-South» of the Zaporozhye Region, Autonomous institution of the Vologda region “Regional Center for Youth and Civil Initiatives “Commonwealth”, Youth Policy Directorate of the Department of Internal Policy of the Ivanovo Region, Youth Palace of the Yaroslavl Region and the Youth House of the Republic of Crimea.

In 2023, the Accelerator was successfully held in Tula, Petrozavodsk, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Stavropol, in Crimea on the basis of the Meganom Academy for participants from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as in Rostov -on-Don, Simferopol, Sevastopol, the Accelerator was also held in the format of the art school “Create.Tavrida” at the festival site of the art cluster.

108 people became finalists of the 2023 Accelerator; they received mentoring from experts, and 85 participants and finalists of the program won federal and regional grant competitions totaling more than 44 million rubles.
