Simferopol residents help people who arrived from the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions

Simferopol residents, the city administration and volunteer organizations actively provide humanitarian support to refugees and families who arrived from the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Since February 2022 the Crimean capital has been providing assistance to citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions who find themselves in difficult situation. To organize the collection of humanitarian aid in the city, 4 reception points were quickly organized, which were replenished daily with essential products: personal hygiene items, baby food, clothes, food with a long shelf life, and more. With the onset of the winter period, for families who arrived from the liberated territories, warm clothes and shoes became relevant, the press service of the Simferopol administration says.
As noted by Antonina Boychenko, Chairman of the Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Region «Crimea — Native Home», weekly humanitarian support is provided on average 10 families. This week, up to 01 families have reached out for help.
Aid is also sent to those in need in other cities of the peninsula, in the liberated territories and in military formations taking part in the NWO.

Refugees need: bottled water, dry baby food (mixtures), tea, sugar, flour, cereals, canned food, disposable tableware, hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, brushes, toilet paper, wet wipes, baby diapers), bedding, warm things, children’s stationery and toys.
The administration of Simferopol thanks caring citizens, volunteers and organizations that have extended a helping hand to the fraternal peoples!
