Simferopol schoolchildren took part in events dedicated to the Day of Memory and Sorrow

June 22 — Day of memory and sorrow. Today in Simferopol, on the basis of day camps and children’s thematic areas, commemorative events dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War were held. This was reported in the administration of the Crimean capital.

On this day, thematic excursions and informative conversations were held for children, where schoolchildren were introduced to the history of their native city during the Great Patriotic War.

Also, Simferopol schoolchildren laid flowers at the monuments and memorials dedicated to these events, and pupils of the Simferopol Academic Gymnasium took part in the Candle of Memory action. The guys lit candles in memory of those who gave their lives in the name of the Great Victory and honored them with a minute of silence.
