On October 17, a strength all-around tournament on the gymnastic crossbar “Russian strength meter” was held in 45 educational institutions of the Crimean capital. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Administration of Simferopol — Head of the Education Department Tatyana Sukhina.
The all-around strength tournament on the gymnastic horizontal bar “Russian strength meter” has been held in the Republic of Crimea since 2018. This year, students in grades 1-11 from 45 schools in Simferopol took an active part in this exciting competition.
Competitions took place throughout the day: fun starts, basketball and volleyball tournaments, master classes in rugby and football. The boys actively took part in all types of competitions. On the horizontal bar, within the allotted time, we performed elements from the stated 10 tests and showed decent results,” noted Tatyana Sukhina.
The guests of honor were the Vice-President of the Artistic Gymnastics Federation of the Republic of Crimea, Master of Sports in acrobatics, powerlifting Iya Sulava, Master of Sports of the Russian Federation in athletics, winner of the Russian Championship in the 800-meter run, the best athlete of Crimea in 2019 and 2021, Bogdan Mazny, as well as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Interregional Public Organization “Russian Unity” Elena Aksyonova.
