Simferopol students honored the memory of their classmate — Hero of Russia Vladislav Dorokhin

An event was held at the Crimean University of Culture, Arts and Tourism dedicated to the anniversary of the death of student Vladislav Dorokhin during the SVO. He will forever remain 21 years old…

Exactly a year ago, on June 21, 2023, on the initiative of Rector Valery Gorenkin, a memorial plaque to the Hero was unveiled on the university building. And on this memorable day for the team, the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Olga Burova, the leadership, teachers, staff and students of the university gathered again to remember the feat and honor the memory of Vladislav and all those who stood up to defend our Motherland.

On June 21, 2022, Vladislav Dorokhin died heroically during a special military operation. On November 20, 2022, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

The memorial event ended with a minute of silence and a ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial plaque to the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dorokhin and at the composition in the Heroes of the Fatherland Square on the territory of the university.
