Simferopol will be decorated with tall cone trees for the New Year

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Simferopol is preparing for the New Year. The main Christmas tree of the Crimean capital (on Lenin Square) has already been installed, it has even been decorated. Everything is ready for the start of festive events (in fact, there won’t be any celebrations or festivities, but in fact, the Christmas tree will be officially “lit” on December 19 – St. Nicholas Day). The tree is new. However, there is a green cone again. Either this is the trend, or it’s more convenient (transportation, installation, dismantling), or cheaper (there’s nothing to worry about here, according to the city authorities, not a single penny of the budget was spent on it).

For lovers of charades and comparisons, two photos — last year’s and the new Christmas tree. As they say, find five differences (garlands and installations do not count).

However, there is a difference in height: the new one is 24 meters, the old one is 23 meters…

The “old” Christmas tree was not thrown away — it will stand at the Simferopol railway station. The installation of the base of the second evergreen beauty is already underway on Lenin Boulevard.

Another Christmas tree will be installed on Kuibyshev Square. Photo zones and installations will be installed at the intersections of Pushkin Street with Karl Marx and Gorky streets.
