Since February 5, the expulsion regime is applied to foreign citizens illegally located in the Russian Federation

The expulsion regime establishes restrictions on certain rights and freedoms, as well as other measures of federal state control (supervision) in the field of migration.

The foreigner in respect of which the expulsion mode is applied is subject to inclusion in the register of controlled persons before its expulsion (deportation or independent departure) from the Russian Federation or until the legal status is resolved in our country

Also, from February 5, 2025, citizens and legal entities (including employers) can check the availability of information about a foreign citizen in the register.
