On June 16, a reverse traffic will be introduced on the bridge across the Chernaya River in Inkerman. Such measures are necessary to continue the repair of the structure. The contracting organization already sets the corresponding traffic signs, and by Monday will establish a traffic light of reverse regulation. This will minimize inconvenience for drivers and ensure road safety. It is planned that partial traffic restrictions will be removed in September.

During this time, the contractor that performs the repair of the bridge will make a new sidewalk, replace the deformation seams of the structures, equip the leveling layer of the carriageway, restore the protective layer of supports and spans, replace barrier and railing, and also laid the upper layer of asphalt, — quoted The press service of the Government of Sevastopol Director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Stanislav Tamataeva.

To ensure traffic safety, as well as the performance of work — from June 16, a restriction of the movement of heavy vehicles weighing 20 tons and more exceeding the dimensions of 3 meters is introduced.

In order to prevent brown situations — during the action of reverse traffic on the bridge, on the Tavrida highway from the intersection with the presidential road to the intersection with Chernorechenskaya Street, restrictions for the movement of freight transport will be removed. At the same time, a sign of the maximum permitted speed up to 60 km/h will continue to operate there.

The repair of the bridge across the Chernaya River in Inkerman began in the spring. Prior to this, the contractor performed work exclusively under the structure, cleaning concrete structures by sandblasting.

The need to carry out the repair of the bridge was determined by the results of the diagnosis of artificial structures. Then defects were discovered that negatively influenced the operational properties of the structure. This is a violation of insulation of deformation joints, protective paintwork of metal structures, and local destruction of the protective layer of reinforced concrete structures, as well as defects in the carriageway.

During the repair, the contractor will eliminate all defects, replace the asphalt concrete coating and barrier fence. Repair is carried out as part of the National Project «Infrastructure for Life». The work is planned to be completed in November.
