Thus, over the past 24 hours, the fire department personnel of the Bagerovo settlement and the town of Shchelkino extinguished 2 dry grass fires in open areas in the Leninsky district. The fire areas were 150 and 300 sq. m. In turn, the personnel of the fire department of the village of Zhuravki extinguished a fire of 700 sq. m. in an open area in the Kirovsky district.
Most often, firefighters of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» go out to extinguish fires of dry vegetation in the urban districts of Feodosia, Simferopol, Nizhnegorsk, Sovetsky and Leninsky districts.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that From April 17, 2024, a special fire safety regime was introduced on the peninsula.
During the special fire-prevention regime, it is strictly forbidden to burn dry grass, garbage and carry out fire-hazardous work within the boundaries of rural and urban settlements, urban districts, gardening and vegetable gardening non-profit partnerships, at enterprises, on lands of all categories, with the exception of work carried out by specialized organizations for the purpose of preventing forest fires. At the same time, violation of fire safety requirements in forests and in areas directly adjacent to forests, is prosecuted by law.
In addition, homeowners and gardeners must promptly clear their plots and the surrounding area of dry grass and flammable waste. At the same time, in populated areas and summer cottages, it is prohibited to arrange dumps of flammable waste, store containers with flammable and flammable liquids, as well as cylinders with compressed and liquefied gas in open areas and yards. Each residential building must have a container of water or a fire extinguisher, and street passages leading to garden plots must always be passable.
