Since the beginning of the year, almost seven thousand Crimeans have received high-tech medical care

According to operational data for the first half of 2024, 6,988 residents of the Republic of Crimea received high-tech medical care — 6,203 adults and 785 children. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Anton Lyaskovsky.
At the expense of the federal budget, assistance was provided to 2,296 patients, at the expense of compulsory medical insurance – to 4,692 patients.— Anton Lyaskovsky reported.
The most common profiles for which patients were referred for high-tech care were traumatology and orthopedics, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and ophthalmology.
Of the total number of Crimeans who received high-tech assistance, the majority, namely 5,245 people, were treated in medical organizations of Crimea. In our region, such assistance is provided by 10 medical institutions of the Ministry of Health of Crimea. Modernization of hospitals, equipping them with the latest equipment and training specialists allow us to introduce new treatment methods in the region, expand the volume of high-tech medical care— Anton Lyaskovsky reported.
