Since the beginning of the year in Sevastopol, more than a thousand families have received a lump sum payment upon the birth of a child
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Since the beginning of 2024, 1,007 residents of Sevastopol have become recipients of a one-time benefit in connection with the birth of a child, of which 763 are working, 244 are unemployed. The regional branch of the SFR has allocated over 25 million rubles for these purposes.
A one-time benefit for the birth of a child is a one-time support measure that is provided to one of the parents. The benefit is paid for each child and does not depend on the family income level. In this case, parents must be citizens of the Russian Federation and reside in Russia. If the parents are divorced, the benefit is due to the person with whom the child lives. The benefit amount from February 1, 2024 is 24,604.30 rubles.
For a working mother, benefits are assigned without application based on the data from the civil registry office about the birth of a child. If only the father works in the family, then to receive benefits he needs to present the child’s birth certificate to his employer. If both parents are not employed, then you can submit an application for payment on the State Services portal. In addition, you can submit an application at the client service of the SFR Branch in Sevastopol or the MFC.
Let us remind you that the application must be submitted within 6 months from the date of birth of the child. The Sevastopol Branch of the fund receives the information necessary to assign a one-time benefit as part of interdepartmental cooperation.
The decision on granting benefits is made within 10 working days, payment is received within 5 working days from the moment a positive decision is made.
