Since the beginning of the year, more than 20 humanitarian aid trucks have been sent from Simferopol to the Northern Military District zone

The necessary assistance is provided to refugees.

Residents of Simferopol, the city administration and volunteer organizations are actively providing humanitarian assistance to families arriving from new regions and military personnel participating in a special military operation.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 20 humanitarian aid trucks have been sent from Simferopol to the Northern Military District zone

To organize the collection of humanitarian aid, 4 reception points were organized in the city, which were replenished daily with essential products: personal hygiene items, baby food, clothing, food products with a long shelf life, and more. With the onset of winter, warm clothes and shoes became relevant for families arriving from liberated territories.

As noted by Antonina Boychenko, chairman of the Charitable Fund for the Development of the Crimea — Native Home region, this week up to 10 families asked for help.

In addition, aid is sent to those in need in other cities of the peninsula, to liberated territories and to military formations taking part in the Northern Military District.

Educational institutions of the Crimean capital are also actively participating in the collection of humanitarian aid. Thus, students of MBOU “Secondary School No. 4 named after Marshal F.I. Tolbukhin» gifts and letters were sent to the front.

Refugees need: bottled water, dry baby food (formula), tea, sugar, flour, cereals, canned food, disposable tableware, hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, brushes, toilet paper, wet wipes, baby diapers), bedding, warm things, children’s stationery and toys.

The administration of Simferopol thanks the caring citizens, volunteers and organizations who extended a helping hand to the fraternal peoples!
