On December 16, the TNT channel released a new episode of the show “Brighter than the Stars.” In it, a resident of Sevastopol won in the image of a famous pop singer.
In each episode of “Brighter than the Stars,” 4 teams compete with each other. Each of them has 3 participants. Together, they will have to show different images of the same performer, demonstrating all facets of talent: both their own and their idol. The one who copes with this task better than the rest will receive a cash prize, as well as the opportunity to participate in the super final.
Singer Yulia Milovanova is 31 years old, she was born in Moscow and three years ago moved to live in Sevastopol. She is inspired by Western pop culture and covers famous hits.
Yulia Milovanova, a participant in the show “Brighter than the Stars,” shared her impressions of the filming: I’m still impressed by the filming process! I liked working in a team of professionals, ranging from vocal and choreography teachers to stylists, makeup artists and many others! I felt like a real star with so much support!.
Julia spoke about her transformation: I have been a fan of Rihanna since childhood, I know all her songs by heart. Even in college she performed at a talent competition with her song “Please don’t stop the music.” At home, I could “reincarnate” into her for hours. I tried to adopt Rihanna’s movements and her style of performance. I arranged photo shoots in her style and even once participated in a competition on social networks. Overall, I am very impressed by the audacity and charisma of this performer. Therefore, without hesitation, I chose her image.
Julia about her experiences during the performance: Before the performance, I was, of course, worried, because before that there was a long and energy-intensive preparation, and psychologically it was not easy to contain the intensity of emotions, but once on stage, I got a taste for it and really enjoyed the process.
Yulia Milovanova about the jury and her victory: It was interesting to watch the reaction of the jury and the presenter, since the three of us were really prepared with very similar images to the singer. It was difficult to distinguish us from the “original”. I was very pleased to hear compliments addressed to me from the jury. I can’t even believe that I won! Incredible experience!

The judges included real masters of transformation. Stars who control their voices and know how to create brilliant images on stage: Marina Kravets, Daria Blokhina, Ivan Abramov and Alexey Chumakov. The leader of the project is Garik Martirosyan.
