Krympress reports:
The opening of the clinic is an important step in ensuring the health of pets and the epizootic well -being of Sevastopol. For six months, 700 animals were saved by doctors, among which dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as an unusual patient-a circus tiger, who helped restore the functions of the musculoskeletal system after an injury. The clinic has established itself as a reliable and modern institution, ready to solve problems of any complexity thanks to new equipment, high -class specialists,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the head of the Veterinary Department of Nikolai Dmitriv.
The main reasons for the appeals are the provision of qualified veterinary assistance, chipping, preventive vaccinations, consultations of specialists and execution of veterinary documents for the transportation of animals.
The veterinary clinic was built according to the state program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, equipped with the most modern veterinary equipment, which allows you to provide a wide range of services: from the conduct of x-ray and ultrasound to artificial ventilation of light and other resuscitation measures. This made it possible to carry out various complex operations.
For example, to operate the dog with an empyema kidney, to remove the so -called “coral” kidney in a cat, to perform a resection of the stations of the affected intestines, the blood transfusion with acute renal failure and extract foreign bodies from the esophagus and the trachea using endoscopy.
Animals come to the clinic with different problems: diseases of the eyes and ears, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, injuries, neoplasms (tumors), complex pathologies of internal organs. Emergency cases are also not uncommon-for example, recently we helped one and a half kilogram chihua-hua, urgently conducted her cystostomy and removed many stones from the bladder that clogged exit from the urethra”Said Julia Shalavinskaya, deputy head of the Sevvettsenter GBU.
Within the framework of its social mission, Gosvetlnik conducts free chipping of dogs and cats. This procedure takes only a few minutes and is absolutely safe for the animal. The chip allows you to freely travel with a pet, participate in international exhibitions and greatly facilitates the search for a lost pet.
Free vaccination against rabies is also carried out weekly. To date, more than 300 animals have been chipped, vaccinated against rabies in both the clinic itself and in the on -site vaccination points — over 11,000 dogs and cats.
Another important part of the work of Gosvetliklinik was the creation of a 24 -hour assistance to birds affected by the spill of oil products. In just six months of work, the item accepted more than 450 goals of a wild bird, including species listed in the Red Book. All animals were provided with the necessary veterinary aid, after which they were transferred to natural parks.
