Wanting to help a casual acquaintance, a 38-year-old resident of Sevastopol became the victim of a robber.
The police found out that at night at a public transport stop the victim met a young man person and while waiting for the minibus, I talked with him on abstract topics. When a new acquaintance asked to call a taxi, she did not suspect anything was wrong and took her smartphone out of her pocket to make a call. At that moment, her interlocutor grabbed the phone from her hands and disappeared. By his illegal actions, he caused material damage in the amount of more than 15 thousand rubles. The attacker sold the stolen gadget to a pawnshop and spent the proceeds from crime for personal needs.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
As a result of operational search activities, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district detained a suspect. He turned out to be a 22-year-old local resident, previously convicted of theft and fraud.
