Social activists checked the work of the Sevastopol linear police department and the linear police station in the seaport

As part of the All-Russian action «Civil Monitoring», the Public Council under the Crimean Line Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Transport, in order to strengthen citizens’ trust in the internal affairs bodies and exercise control over the activities of the police, checked the work of the Sevastopol Line Police Department and the Line Police Point in the seaport of Sevastopol in Crimea LU Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport.

During the monitoring, in the presence of the acting head of the Sevastopol LOP, police major Kirill Evdokimov, public activists inspected the premises for receiving citizens and checked the presence of the necessary regulations. The fullness of the stands, assessed their completeness and reliability of information on informing citizens, namely: the procedure for receiving requests and applications, the procedure for appealing the relevant decision or action (inaction), contact numbers of senior managers and a number of other information indicating the implementation of the principles of legality and respect for the rights of citizens .

In addition, social activists spoke with police patrol units on patrol routes. Particular attention was paid to the uniform of law enforcement officers, the presence of service IDs, badges, as well as knowledge of administrative and criminal legislation, and other legal acts regulating their official activities.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the public of the Crimean transport police wished the police officers fruitful work and good mood. They noted that during the monitoring, no comments or complaints were identified. The personnel of the Sevastopol LOP and LPP in the seaport of Sevastopol are united and aimed at achieving results in their official activities, as well as activities to protect the rights of citizens
