Sowing campaign of winter grain crops began in Crimea

Order has already been sown in the republic 00 thousand hectares of winter crops for grain. The enterprises of the Chernomorsky region were the first to start such work on the fields, and now more than 8 thousand hectares of these crops have already been sown there. Today, work is also taking place in the Saki district on the fields of two enterprises: Agrostan LLC and KFH Shvydkiy V.L. Both agricultural producers have been specializing in crop production for many years. On the fields of LLC «Agrostan» for the harvest 2023 of the year, it is planned to sow winter barley on the area 180 hectares, of which already sown and winter wheat on an area of 600 hectares. The First Deputy Minister also clarified that this year these enterprises received a good harvest of grain and leguminous crops: Agrostan LLC removed them from the area 850 hectares, the gross harvest amounted to 2230 tons. This is winter wheat, which was harvested from 600 hectares, its gross harvest amounted to 1100 tons and winter barley harvested from 84 hectares, the gross harvest of which amounted to 84 tons. KFH Shvydkiy V. L. this year harvested grain and leguminous crops from the area 1200 hectares, the gross harvest of these crops amounted to 8427 tons — winter wheat was harvested from the area 600 ha, its gross harvest amounted to 8580 tons, winter barley was removed from the area 100 hectares, the gross harvest of which amounted to 500 tons. These enterprises, like many others, are regular participants in the state subsidy program.
The largest area of sowing winter crops for grain for harvest 2023 this year is planned for the enterprises of the Krasnogvardeisky and Dzhankoy districts. More than 47 thousand hectares will be sown this year and almost 62 thousands of hectares respectively.
