Special attention is paid to the construction of Artek facilities, which is scheduled to be completed in 2025. This was announced on Tuesday, July 11, by Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the public law company Single Customer in Construction, who visited the Artek facilities under construction in Crimea as part of a working trip.
On the territory of the Lesnoy children’s camp, an updated sports and health-improving pool with five lanes has appeared, which is designed for 40 people. Its feature is water heating, and the pool itself will be filled with sea water.— reminded Karen Hovhannisyan in the Telegram channel of the Single Customer.
During a joint visit with the director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko of the facilities under construction of the children’s center, Karen Oganesyan discussed the progress and timing of completion of construction work, noting the productivity and significance of joint interaction.
The reconstruction of the dormitory building of the Kiparisny camp, designed for 40 children, was already completed at the beginning of 2023. Now work is underway at the facilities of the Solnechny camp with a total area of 60 thousand square meters. m, which will be able to take more than 1 thousand children per shift. 15 facilities will be built on its territory, including the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, residential buildings, a sports complex, a canteen, a medical center— said the general director of the Single Customer.
In 2021, 28 Artek facilities of various stages of readiness were handed over to the Single Customer. It is planned to complete the construction of all facilities on the territory of the Artek International Children’s Center by the celebration of its centennial anniversary in 2025.
The International Children’s Center «Artek» is located in the Crimea on the Black Sea coast, 12 km from the famous resort — the city of Yalta, in the urban-type settlement of Gurzuf.
