Specialists from the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Crimea checked the beach areas in Sudak

The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, together with the administration of the city of Sudak, monitored the operation of the region’s beaches.
In total, 18 beaches have been declared operational in the urban district of Sudak. During the visit with the participation of the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Ganziya and the head of the Sudak administration Konstantin Podsevalov, monitoring of the beaches on the embankment was conducted.
The bottom of the beaches has been surveyed, and lifeguards have been provided. The sanitary condition of the beaches is satisfactory. Changing cabins and awnings have been installed, as well as the necessary beach equipment and trash bins, which are removed regularly. Following the comments, beach users have undertaken to whitewash the adjacent retaining walls and bring the information boards into proper condition. Particular attention was paid to the resort areas in the village of Morskoye. In the 2024 season, two beaches are operating in the village — OOO OAK-Zdorovye and IP Aleinik. Lifeguards are on duty at these beaches, the necessary beach equipment and a ramp for people with disabilities have been installed, and some of the metal structures were dismantled promptly.— the press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea reported.
The Sudak city administration is recommended to take measures to dismantle hazardous objects and hazardous metal structures in the water area adjacent to the beaches, repair the street bench and ensure watering of green spaces in the area of the beaches in Morskoye.
During the visit with the city administration, at a meeting with the initiative group of residents of the village, its tourist development, problematic issues were discussed, the most pressing problems were identified, and their solutions were taken under control.
At the moment, in March of this year, work on the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities was completed in the village, and at the moment, measures are being taken to put them into operation.
Priority measures have been taken to fence off the passage of unsafe sections of the Alushta-Sudak-Feodosia highway — a section of the village of Morskoye, along the coastal strip, a detour has been organized and restoration work is being carried out, which should be completed in 2024. In the course of fulfilling the instructions of the Head of the Republic of Crimea, grading of the dirt roads of the village of Morskoye is being carried out.
Monitoring of beach areas will continue on a permanent basis. We ask all beach users to be hospitable and cordial with guests, to maintain order and ensure constant monitoring of the safety of recreation.
