Specialists of «CRIMEA-SPAS» learned parachute landing
CrimeaPRESS reports:
As reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, KRYM-SPAS specialists practiced the descent from a height of 30 meters with the subsequent recovery of a conditional victim using rescue equipment. A nuance of the training — the descent was carried out from a helicopter, and the mock victim was also lifted onto the aircraft. And no parachutes!
Employees from the rescue search and landing group of the Simferopol emergency rescue squad took part in training on non-parachute landing in collaboration with pilots of the Southern Aviation Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. The practical lesson took place at the Simferopol reservoirsaid the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev.
The minister noted that before taking off in a helicopter, the rescuers underwent the necessary instructions, checked the serviceability of all equipment for descent, the reliability of fastening the safety systems and carbines.
In conditions as close as possible to real ones, KRYM-SPAS employees, using the standard lifting equipment of the MI-8 helicopter (winch), improved their skills in rescuing simulated victims from the water surface in the daytime. In the helicopter hovering mode from a height of 30 m, the descent to a certain point was practiced, followed by the ascent of a mock victim using rescue equipment on board the aircraft. A total of 4 descents and ascents were carried out to provide assistance— summed up the emergency department.
An additional group of rescuers from the Simferopol ASO on a motor boat was deployed to ensure safety on the water.
Sergei Sadakliev emphasized that the efficiency of providing assistance to a victim on the water depends on the coordination of work between the rescuer, the flight engineer and the aircraft commander. In this regard, such training is carried out on a regular basis.
The total number of rescuers allowed to carry out RPS using aviation is 33 people. Rescuers are authorized to work on non-parachute landing from MI-8, KA-32 helicopters onto all types of landing surfaces, at any time of the day and at altitudes up to three and a half kilometers. Three people are allowed to work with the Be-200ChS amphibious aircraft. Work and training are carried out in cooperation with the aviation of the Southern Aviation Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on the basis of agreements.
