SPIEF-2024 for Crimea “counts”: the amount of potential investment projects exceeds 41 billion rubles

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Billions of investments are a “plus”, but the fact that almost all projects are the construction of residential complexes is a “minus”.

As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Republic of Crimea entered into memorandums on the implementation of investment projects in Kerch, Yalta, Feodosia and Yevpatoriya, as well as in the Bakhchisarai region for a total amount of over 41.4 billion rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

A number of memorandums were concluded at SPIEF 2024. In particular, about the construction of the residential complex “City of Ancient Traditions” in the Bakhchisaray district with investments worth 28 billion rubles. It is expected that this will be a large residential complex, which will occupy a total of about 50 hectares. In particular, the project provides for the construction of a kindergarten and a gymnasium, as well as a mosque, a shopping and office complex, a historical market and a green area— said Irina Kiviko.

A modern residential complex will also appear in the East of Crimea. Thus, in Kerch, the investor will build a microdistrict with developed infrastructure, which will consist of several multi-storey buildings with high-quality finishing, and the territory will be provided with parking lots, children’s and sports grounds, and entertainment areas. The investment amount will be 7.5 billion rubles.

In Koktebel, according to the investment project (with an investment amount of 500 million rubles), a new housing and recreational complex will appear. In addition to the construction of apartments, the project includes the construction of a modern parking lot and the creation of a green area.

Also, as Irina Kiviko clarified, within the framework of two more signed memorandums, an investment project for the construction of a residential complex with an investment amount of 1.5 billion rubles is being implemented in Yalta, and in Yevpatoria a project for the construction of a multifunctional complex with an investment amount of 3.9 billion rubles is being implemented.

A multifunctional complex in Yevpatoria will provide comfortable accommodation for a large number of families. Particular attention in the project is paid to improvement facilities, which should give the new microdistrict a unique architectural appearance. And in the new residential complex in Yalta, two buildings with a height of 9 and 16 floors will be built, designed in such a way as to fit perfectly into the unique landscape of the resort capital of Crimea“, summed up the Deputy Prime Minister.

Let us remind you that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is a unique event in the world of economics and business. SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. Over the past years, the Forum has become the world’s leading platform for communication between representatives of the business community and discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.
