Yesterday afternoon, “CRIMEA-SPAS” received a message that a man, during a tourist walk in the area of ​​the Uch-Kosh gorge, when descending from a slope, found himself on a steep rock-talus area of ​​the area. He cannot continue moving on his own. The help of rescuers is needed in evacuating him from the mountainous forest area.

Employees of the Yalta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» consisting of 5 people went to the scene of the incident. Having arrived at the lower reaches of the Uch-Kosh gorge, rescuers began search work. Within half an hour, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea established voice and then visual contact with the man. Having reached the victim, rescuers laid rope railings and evacuated him to a safe place. The man did not need medical attention— reported the emergency department.

Also yesterday, at 11:50, a signal was received that a woman had injured her leg on Mount Echki-Dag (near Sudak). He cannot go down the mountain on his own. Rescuers’ help is required. The duty shift of the Sudak emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS», as well as ambulance staff, promptly went to the scene of the incident. Rescuers in an all-terrain vehicle together with medical workers climbed Mount Echki-Dag and 25 minutes later found the citizen on a steep, loose section of the mountain slope. The tourist was hospitalized.
