Square and four new streets named in honor of the participants of the special operation in Sevastopol

Today, at a government meeting chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, it was decided that four new streets in the village of Polyushko and a square in Victory Park be named after the heroes of the special military operation.
Let me remind you that representatives of a public organization that unites the wives and mothers of the heroes of the Northern Military District asked me to name a square in Victory Park in honor of the memory of fallen soldiers. Of course, I supported this proposal and instructed to consider the initiative at a meeting of the toponymic commission. Streets named in honor of the participants of the Northern Military District (Polyushko village): Guards Senior Sergeant Vladimir Krivopalov, Guards Senior Lieutenant Alexander Lavrichenko, Senior Warrant Officer Ivan Vakhrushev, Guards Private Alexander Cheremenov. The indicated names of the streets were proposed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and agreed at a meeting of the interdepartmental toponymic commission of the city of Sevastopol.
Also at the meeting, the following names were assigned:
- Square Anatoly Terentyev near the intersection of st. Novikov and st. 40 years of October is now so named at the suggestion of the head of the Balaklava Ministry of Defense and public organizations in order to perpetuate the memory of an outstanding teacher, artist and honorary resident of Balaklava;
- the square “Flagship of the 1st Rank Orlov Fleet” is located on Kolobova Street — veterans asked for this;
- the park in the village of Orlinom was named after political instructor Vlasenko.
Three streets in Polyushko was named in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the Heroes of the Soviet Union: Seitnafe Seitveliev, Ibraim Berkutov, Anatoly Abilov.
Also, two new streets in the village were named Friendly and Polevaya.
During the meeting, names were also given to 15 public transport stops: Radarnaya, ZhK Dergachev, Artdivizionovskaya Street, Cadet Corps, Kronstadtskaya Street, Lyubimovsky Bridge, Belevichi, Proezd Bogdanov , Mekenzievy Gory Station, Energetikov Street, Denis Rakitsky Street, Lyubimovka Beach, Kachinskoe Highway, Mayak-2 and Podgornaya Street.
