The updated project of the Yuzhnye sewage treatment plant has been approved by the state examination. About this today in my Telegram channel said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The Yuzhnye WWTP project received a positive conclusion from the repeated state examination. For us this is the most important stage. Now the contractor, Regional Construction Company LLC, will be able to purchase the necessary equipment and continue construction of the facility at a high pace. Today, 119 people work at the site, 15 pieces of equipment are involvedwrote the head of the city.
The governor recalled that the updated project provides for the construction of treatment facilities with a capacity of 130 thousand cubic meters per day with the possibility of increasing to 160 thousand, deep-water outlet in the Blue Bay area and a discharge collector from the WWTP site to the water’s edge.
The project excludes the construction of the 2nd stage of sewage treatment facilities in Balaklava — wastewater from Balaklava will directly go through the new collector currently being designed for treatment at the Yuzhnye WWTP.noted Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The facility is being built as part of the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
