State of emergency in the Kirovsky district of Crimea: a child was seriously injured by an electric shock

The Investigative Committee and the prosecutor’s office are investigating the circumstances of the incident in the Kirovsky district of Crimea. Preliminarily, we are talking about a criminal case initiated under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Performance of work that does not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers”).

It was previously established that a four-year-old girl, while in the entrance of an apartment building, came into contact with an open electrical panel and received a burn as a result of electric shock. The child is currently receiving medical attention.— said in the Sledkom.

The investigation, among other things, will assess the utilities and other authorized services responsible for the functioning of the electrical networks at home and ensuring security measures.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the incident happened in the village of Pervomaiskoye.

During the inspection, which was entrusted to the prosecutor’s office of the Kirovsky district, the causes of the incident will be established, an assessment will be made of compliance with safety requirements in the maintenance of common house property. In addition, an assessment will be given to the actions of parents in terms of the proper fulfillment of duties for the upbringing of a minor, an audit of the implementation of legislation in the field of prevention of neglect and delinquency of minors will be carried out.the prosecutor’s office stressed.
