It is known for certain that a man and a woman, a married couple from the Belgorod region, died as a result of an explosion in the area of the 145th support. Their 14-year-old daughter is alive, she is hospitalized with severe injuries.
Traffic was stopped on the Crimean bridge: an emergency occurred in the area of the 145th support from the Krasnodar Territory. Law enforcement agencies and all responsible services are working… Measures are being taken to restore the situation… Given the current situation, I ask residents and guests of the peninsula to refrain from traveling through the Crimean bridge and, for security reasons, choose an alternative land route through new regions— Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov commented on the situation early in the morning.

In the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation declaredthat the roadway was damaged on the spans from the Crimean side. According to the ministry, the structures of the spans themselves are on their supports, the supports were not damaged.
