State support for viticulture in Sevastopol increased by 68%

At the hardware meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Podvozhaev, they discussed the implementation of the state program for supporting agro -industrial, fisheries and agricultural complexes of the region. Particular attention was paid to the development of viticulture and winemaking — the key sectors of the agro -industrial sector of the city.
In 2025, 961 million rubles were allocated to support agricultural producers from the federal and regional budgets. As of August 1, 42 business entities for a total of 730 million rubles received funds, which is 76% of the planned.
Viticulture and winemaking — the hallmark of Sevastopol. This year, industry support increased by 68% compared to 2024 and reached 738 million rubles. 22 vinograms and alarm farms have already taken advantage of the subsidies: they carried out departments on an area of 3733 hectares, laid new vineyards on 195 hectares, purchased 11 units of agricultural machinery and 83 units of winery equipment. For the first time at the expense of state support, two modern grape harvesting harvesters were purchased — this is an important step towards technological renewal of the industry,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as director of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market Natalia Skoryukov.
The total area of vineyards in Sevastopol is 7 thousand hectares, of which 5 thousand are in fruiting age. This year, 28 thousand tons of grapes are expected.
Currently, the city has 70 viticulture-shaped farms, including large enterprises, farms and individual entrepreneurs. 21 The company is engaged in the production of wine and sparkling wines, the annual production plan is 30 million bottles. To date, 15 million bottles have already been produced.
Particular attention is paid to the environmentally sustainable development of the industry: 7 farms have already switched to organic viticulture, 5 of them received certificates of compliance with organic products. The products of the Sevastopol winemakers are represented in federal and regional retail chains and confidently gains the recognition of consumers.
Governor Mikhail Podvozhaev instructed to expand the direction of state support not only on the development of technical grape varieties, but also to grow canteen varieties, as well as the expansion of export potential.
In the coming years, it is planned to further increase the volume of processing, the modernization of wine production and the expansion of the geography of the supply of Sevastopol wine.
