State support will allow Sevastopol farms to reimburse the costs of raising chickens and producing eggs

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the procedure for providing subsidies for reimbursement of part of the costs per ton of poultry meat produced and sold and per thousand pieces of chicken eggs produced and sold was approved. In 2023, 5 million rubles will be allocated for these areas of support.

We have a new poultry farm in Ternovka. Our state support will compensate for the costs incurred for the production of 35 tons of poultry meat and 240 thousand eggs— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.

In the field of poultry farming in the region, there is also a producer in Orlin.

These directions for the development of poultry farming are especially relevant for ensuring the food security of the city, with this in mind, the agricultural sector of the city’s economy faces the task of providing the population with high-quality, environmentally friendly, affordable food— notes the director of the department of agriculture and consumer market Natalia Skoryukova.

To date, the number of laying hens in Sevastopol is about 800 heads, capable of producing up to 240 thousand eggs per year. There are the necessary production areas for the simultaneous cultivation of 2 thousand heads of broiler chickens, which will amount to about 12.5 million heads of broilers per year — this is 35 tons of poultry meat in live weight.

Detailed information on subsidies provided by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Markets can be found at link.
