State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» has published temporary shutdown schedules

Specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» posted information about temporary power outages on the official page in the social network «In contact with»as well as in the telegram channel «Krymenergoinform».

On July 16, due to a technological failure in the power system of the South of Russia, the power supply to the majority of the residents of Crimea (more than 200 thousand people) was cut off. At the direction of the dispatcher of the Black Sea Regional Dispatch Control (CRDC), a step-by-step power outage was introduced. This measure affected subscribers of all urban districts and regions of the Republic of Crimea.

In an accelerated mode, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» have drawn up temporary shutdown schedules (TSS). All information is posted in the official groups of the enterprise and also sent to the administrations of municipal entities.

In addition, according to the information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, a fire hazard situation remains on the entire peninsula. The air temperature can reach +38 + 40 degrees. In this regard, the risks of emergency power outages remain.

On July 17 at 9:00, an operational meeting of the management and heads of the districts of the electric networks of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» with the First Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy Vladimir Voronkin was held. During the event, measures were developed for the speedy restoration of the energy infrastructure of the republic. In particular, on July 17 of this year, temporary power outages will occur throughout the peninsula every 2-3 hours.

This measure is forced and temporary. Crimeans and guests of the peninsula are asked to treat the current situation with understanding.
