The Sevastopol Branch of the Financial Markets Service annually compensates employers for their costs of carrying out measures to reduce industrial injuries and occupational diseases of workers. In 2023, 74 city enterprises received such compensation in the amount of over 15 million rubles.
This year, the Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund plans to allocate more than 18.6 million rubles for preventive measures. The campaign for accepting applications from employers has already started and will continue until August 1. The status of consideration of applications can be checked on the website of the regional Office in the section “For policyholders«
Employers can submit an application and documents for reimbursement of costs for preventive measures through the State Services portal, in the customer service of the Branch, and also send by post no later than August 1, 2024— the press service quotes the manager of the SFR Branch for Sevastopol, Elena Gaivoronskaya.
Insurers of all forms of ownership, including individual entrepreneurs, can apply. An important condition for the allocation of funds is the absence of debt on insurance contributions for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases.
In total, the Social Fund for Sevastopol finances 16 labor protection measures. The most popular of them for employers are the purchase of personal protective equipment for employees, periodic medical examinations of workers, a special assessment of working conditions, and the provision of therapeutic and preventive nutrition.
Let us remind you that initially employers carry out these activities at their own expense, and then the SFR Branch reimburses expenses within the amount agreed with the Sevastopol Social Fund. As a rule, this is 20% of the amount of insurance premiums accrued by enterprises for the previous calendar year. The amount of funds can be increased to 30% if the employer includes sanatorium and resort treatment for pre-retirement and retirement age workers in the occupational safety and health plan.
