Steppe foxes — corsacs — have settled in the zoo corner of the Simferopol Children's Park

The collection of the Simferopol zoo corner has been replenished with a couple of charming corsacs. These are small steppe foxes. The weight of the animals reaches only 4-6 kilograms. They have pronounced pointed ears and a short muzzle. The newcomers are called Alisa and Lyolik. They settled in a spacious enclosure, which was built especially for them. There are places for rest and activities, cozy houses and ladders. Now the foxes are actively exploring their home.
The new inhabitants of the zoo corner of the Children’s Park in Simferopol were purchased from one of the zoos on the Russian mainland. Today, the animals feel great. They have already been removed from preventive quarantine, during which they underwent all the appropriate veterinary and sanitary measures.— they said in the VK group Parks of the capital (Simferopol).
Corsacs have a great mood and a good appetite. Their diet consists of sprouted grain, vegetables, chicken, rabbit, cottage cheese and eggs.
You can meet the corsac family any day you like. The zoo corner is open from 9:00 to 20:00.
