In one of the Yalta channels, users posted a video with a gross violation of traffic rules and were outraged by the behavior of the Geely Monjaro driver, who abandoned his car in the middle of the road with the door open, and began to relieve himself. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Yalta conducted a check and identified the driver. A 36-year-old native of the Voronezh region, temporarily residing in Crimea, was detained by police as soon as possible. According to external signs, the man was driving while intoxicated. Traffic police inspectors suggested that the driver undergo a medical procedure. examination for alcohol intoxication on site or in a medical institution, which he refused— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver under Part 2 of Art. 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure by the driver of a vehicle who does not have the right to drive vehicles or has been deprived of the right to drive vehicles, the legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of administrative arrest for a period of ten to fifteen days or the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of thirty thousand rubles.

When checking documents using the information databases of the State Traffic Inspectorate, it was established that the Voronezh court also deprived the man of the right to drive vehicles for driving while intoxicated. The citizen was detained and taken to the Yalta police department.

The Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Yalta is considering the issue of initiating a criminal case under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subject to administrative punishment or having a criminal record).

The driver was suspended from driving, and the vehicle was seized and placed in a specialized parking lot.
